KJCCC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week - Week 6
COLBY, Kan. – Top times and marks in the NJCAA this season recorded by Cloud County's Rafiatu Nuhu and Barton Community College's Cedricka Williams have earned the duo Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honors for Week 6 of the 2025 outdoor season.
Rafiatu Nuhu (Cloud County) – KJCCC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
Nuhu ran three 400-meter races between the Prelims (52.73), finals (52.85), and the anchor leg of the 4x400-meter relay with a split of 52.75 seconds over the weekend at KU Relays. Nuhu helped the Cloud Women set the number one time in the NJCAA in the 4x400 meter relay and the open 400 meters with her performances.
Cedricka Williams (Barton) – KJCCC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Cedricka started her day by qualifying for the NJCAA Championships in the hammer throw with the sixth-best throw in the NJCAA and third-best mark in the KJCCC. The sophomore finished the day in the discus with two throws farther than her own NJCAA National Record with a fourth-round throw of 59.16 meters and her final throw of the day reaching 59.46 meters. This is also the 10th-best throw across all collegiate divisions this year.
