KJCCC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week - Week 7
COLBY, Kan. – Cloud County Community College sophomore Mercy Angaamchaab and Barton Community College’s Cedricka Williams have each earned Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors for week 7 of the 2025 season.
Mercy Angaamchaab (Cloud County) – KJCCC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
Mercy Angaamchaab ran a personal best time in the 800m to take second at the University of Kansas Rock Chalk Classic. Angaamchaab ran a time of 2:11.83 which currently ranks 13th in the NJCAA this season.
Cedricka Williams (Barton) – KJCCC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Cedricka Wililams placed fourth in the discus at the University of Kansas Rock Chalk Classic, setting a new Jamaican National Record for a second-straight week. Uncorking a throw of 59.89 meters on her fourth throw, Williams was the second-highest collegiate finisher in the meet and now leads all other NJCAA throwers in the discus by over 26 feet.
