Among the six teams ranked or receiving votes, four are ranked within the top 10 of their respective polls including the top two teams in the latest NJCAA Division 2 Volleyball poll with Cowley holding down their top ranking while Johnson County moves up one spot from number three to number two. Both the Tigers and Lady Cavaliers had just one match last week, opening conference play with three-set sweeps as Cowley went to Coffeyville while Johnson County hosted Kansas City Kansas in their lone action of the week. Also ranked in the latest NJCAA Division 2 Volleyball poll is Kansas City Kansas by holding down the number 24 ranking after starting their season with a 3-2 record with both losses coming to teams ranked in the top seven of the latest rankings. The Blue Devils will host Neosho County Community College in their home opener on Wednesday before heading to Fort Dodge Iowa for four games at the Iowa Central Community College Invitational.
