KJCCC Cross Country Athletes of the Week - Week 3

Cross country runners Emily Diercks (Colby) and Sanele Masondo (Colby) were named Jayhawk Conference women's and men's Runners of the Week.

Women
Emily Diercks (Colby) - She finished 22nd overall at the Woody Greeno 5K with a time of 18:20 and was the top KJCCC and NJCAA finisher. Her time is 1:48 faster than last year at the same race. 

Men's
Sanele Masondo (Colby) - He won the WoodyGreeno 8K with a time of 23:31, claiming the win by 40 seconds in a race that featured 300 runners from all levels - NCAA D1, NCAA D2, NAIA, and NJCAA.
