KJCCC Cross Country Athletes of the Week - Week 2

Cross country runners Norma Rodriguez (Dodge City) and Lucas Goasmat (Garden City) were named Jayhawk Conference women's and men's Runners of the Week.

Women
Norma Rodriguez (Dodge City) – She finished eighth place in the Fort Hays State Invite 5k race posting a time of 19:45.8 and was the top NJCAA runner, helping the team earn second place. 

Men
Lucas Goasmat (Garden City) – He had a new personal record a time of 20:49 finishing third at the Fort Hays State Invite and was the top NJCAA runner. Garden city men's team earned second place as a team.
