KJCCC Cross Country Athletes of the Week - Week 5

Cross country runners N Vanee Anchike (Cloud County) and Adem Bouldjadj (Butler) were named Jayhawk Conference women's and men's Runners of the Week.

Women
N Vanee Anchike (Cloud County) – She won the Open Division 6K with a time of 22:10.4 at the Gans Creek Classic in Missouri. She competed against NCAA DII, NAIA, and NJCAA schools with a total of 165 runners.  

Men's
Adem Bouldjadj (Butler) – He placed first out of 273 runners at the Chile Pepper Invitational posting a time of 24:16.2. He won the raced by over 90 seconds.
