Sophomore, Janete Ferreira, became the all-time single-season
kills leader at Seward County Community College with her season
total for kills reaching 563. Ferreira broke the all-time
single-season record previously set in 2004 by NJCAA First Team
All-American, Luana Cavalcanti. Ferreira recorded two matches
last week with a hitting percentage above .400 against No. 3
Iowa Western (.526) and against Mineral Area College (.412).
