Freshman middle hitter Emily Hester led Johnson County to
wins over three ranked teams. Hester had 16 kills and five
blocks in a win over No. 1-ranked Cowley College, and
combined to finish with 23 kills and 11 blocks in wins over
Kirkwood (IA) and East Central (MO). Hester�s stellar play
helped the Lady Cavaliers grab a share of the Jayhawk East
title.
