Broncbusters draw at Seward

Liberal, KS-Charlotte Sayer scored 17 minutes into the second half, and Garden City earned a 1-1 draw with Seward County Wednesday night Redskin Field.  

Sayre, who netted her 10th goal of the season, helped Garden City move to 4-9-2 overall and 0-9-2 in conference play. 

After Yvie Miller committed a foul deep in their own end, Leydaly Enriquez made a tremendous diving save on a penalty kick. But moments later, the Saints cashed in on a corner when Meredith Rosas headed in a cross from Giuliani Granada to make it 1-0 in the 18th minute.  

It stayed that way until the 62nd minute when Ariel Martinez slipped a pass from midfield to Sayer, who wiggled around keeper, Ashley Acevedo for an uncontested goal that tied the match. 

The Broncbusters outshot the Saints, 10-8, and Enriquez had two saves.
