Volleyball goes 4-0 at NMJC Invitational

The Wrangler Volleyball team improved their overall record to 7-1 on the season, picking up four wins this past weekend at the New Mexico Junior College Invitational in Hobbs, NM.

On Friday, Odessa opened with a four set victory (25-23, 12-25, 25-15, 25-19) over Colby Community College (Kansas) then picked up a straight sets victory (25-19, 25-22, 27-25) over Otero College (Colorado).

Then on Saturday, the Wrangler defeated Eastern Wyoming in four sets (25-20, 19-25, 25-18, 25-19) and won another four set match over Trinidad State (Colorado) (25-13, 17-25, 25-23, 25-17).

Odessa will now shift their attention to Western Junior College Athletic Conference play, as the Wranglers will travel to Snyder, TX on Wednesday to take on Western Texas College at 6pm. 

The Wranglers will return home on Saturday for their first conference home match of the season against New Mexico Military Institute at 2pm inside the OC Sports Center.
